A few things to know

Good questions.
Clear answers.

A closer look at the workspace and what the data can tell you.

What is Job Stream?

A personal workspace for your job search. It brings opportunities, applications, follow-ups, resume versions, and advertised compensation insights into one place.

Do I need to add jobs myself?

The opportunities are already here ready for you to explore. Set your target roles and preferences to see relevant opportunities, with no copying of job listings required. You can also add a role you find elsewhere.

What does a fit score tell me?

It’s a signal to help you prioritize opportunities, based on how your resume evidence meets a role’s requirements. Scores of 80 and above are Strong matches; 70–79 are Good matches; 60–69 are Stretch; below 60 is Skip. Search preferences are considered separately. Review the evidence and gaps alongside the score. It isn’t a prediction of an interview or offer, but a guide of what opportunities may be worth your time.

How many resumes can I keep active?

You can keep up to five active resumes. Upload PDF or DOCX files, use different versions for different kinds of roles, and review the recommended match in an evaluated job’s details.

Is compensation data a company pay ranking?

No. Insights compares advertised compensation ranges and keeps pay types, currencies, and periods distinct. It doesn’t verify employee earnings, predict offers, or rank companies by what they actually pay.

Does Job Stream apply to jobs for me?

No. You decide which opportunities to pursue and which resume to use, and you submit applications yourself. Opening an application link doesn’t mark the job as applied. You update its status when you’re ready.

How is AI used with my resume?

When you request a job evaluation, relevant resume text and job details are sent to OpenAI to assess fit and recommend one of your eligible active resumes.
